i have recently acquired Ants Eaglet, an excellent, fun to fly light Tecnam aircraft.

and of course i would like to have Mindstar 530 onboard. 

i have tried the simple code for a one window popup replacing [Window01]

but i get a flicker screen with 1:1:255 and a blank blue GPS screen with 2:1:255

after entering an ILS procedure. in both cases the 530 seems to load okay.

if someone could code this for me i would be real happy.

of course, as soon as i posted and tried again from the beginning

the 530 popped up like magic. a missed line with the old GPS i think.

can we say that the Mindstar units are easy to install if we follow the rules?

mmm.

with one little quirk. the 530 will only load the ILS approach and then continue normally

if this is the first aircraft selected after FSX startup.

it is the only GPS in use and i have use 1:1:225

so i am mostly happy, but wondering where the glitch is.

does anyone have some ideas on this?

First, when did you download the 530?  Second, you have removed all default GPS entries from the panel.cfg?
