March 13, 200620 yr Does anyone have any trick to speed up the frame rates on the Sim Flyers airport sceneries? I have doen a search and found other's complaints but no solutions. I am running an AMD 64 FX55 and two nvidia Geforce 6800 Ultras (though I believe FS only uses one) and these airports still slow my computer way down. I have removed all the static aircraft but is there something else I can do to get the frame rates up? It is bad enough that I am about to just go back to the old FS sceneries and/or get some other good freeware or payware ones. Tom Landry
March 13, 200620 yr Ive never found anything. Sorry. Maybe converting some textures to dxt3 or dxt1 with mipmaps. but the design just isnt framerate friendly
