One of those moments with xEnviro (v1.07) with xEnviroLightsEnvironmentMod.lua script available from the download section of AeroSim Gaming's web site at https://www.aerosimgaming.com/

Thank you AeroSim Gaming for this lua script. Yet another example of the talent and generosity of X-Plane's community members.

All the best, Jean-Jacques (JJ)

Post your screenshot to imgur.com (you don't need an account), then copy the direct link right into your post- the image will embed automatically.

This is a great file  to use with xEnviro. When you combine it with the following files the look of XP at night is totally transformed:

https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/33482-real-halo/

https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/34930-enhanced-europe/

By the way, although the Aerosim mod is great, I personally thought the lights looked a little too bright. Using their lua file as a basis, I made my own that I think looks much more realistic. Make a new lua file and put this into it and let me know what you think!

set( "sim/private/controls/lights/bloom_far", 100.00)
set( "sim/private/controls/lights/bloom_for_zoom", 0.00)
set( "sim/private/controls/lights/bloom_near", 100.00)
set( "sim/private/controls/lights/dist_far", 10000.00)
set( "sim/private/controls/lights/dist_near", 10.00)
set( "sim/private/controls/lights/exponent_far", 0.45)
set( "sim/private/controls/lights/exponent_near", 0.25)

Thank you hamoody for your guidance. Thank you also for the links to other goodies and your rendition of Aerosim's lua script. I'll check these out soon and get back with feedback.

Looks very nice! I stayed on 1.06 because a number of people who moved to this version regretted it. Now I'm not do sure.

Thank you. I'm reasonably certain that you could backup 1.06 and revert back should you want to.
