P3D V 5.0.24.34874 and Saitek Rudder Pedals

Yes thank you Stephen for 'closing the loop' which many people omit doing. If you ask for help, have the courtesy of letting readers know whether the issue was solved and if so, how. -
Hi Gerald, I didn't say all posts focussed on camera positions. I know you commented on the camera movement aspect. I can't voice my opinion on which one I prefer because I've only used EZDOK. But if I could get Maniftarr's latest creation for my preferred simulator which is X-Plane, I'd be a much happier flight simmer!

I can't do 24hz but what a nice video! Quality of the image is excellent. Thanks for sharing. JJ

I'm an X-Plane user but did use EZDOK v1 and v2 during my FSX days. I truly miss its camera movement qualities because there is no equivalent for X-Plane. Yes XP has 'Quicklook' capabilities and a payware camera utility (X-Camera) but these offer camera positions without movement effects. Some of the posts here focus on camera positions only when making reference to EZDOK and ChasePlane but shouldn't member views also focus on the utility's camera movement qualities, i.e., which utility offers the most immersive movements from the pilot's perspective?

Dave responded to your claim. Did you get your license? Dave is very quick to solve issues.

Is there no way to disable Win 10 updating itself?
Jean-Jacques replied to Noel's topic in WIN10 OS Forum
Are there tons of flightsimmers complaining to have issues with their flightsimulator(s) after Windows 10 updates itself? If so, point me to forum posts or other reading material that deals with Windows 10 update issues in the context of flight simulation.. JJ -
This childish Orbx attitude has pushed me long ago to eliminate the company from my list of suppliers. JJ

Read his second paragraph! Quote: "I'm currently working on a project for my Dexter Industries GoPiGo robot where I control it with a joystick. Ergo, I dig up my (old) Saitek X52 HOTAS controller that I've had sitting in a box for a while".Unquote I have an X52 and I like it very much for flying helis. I don't consider it 'old' at all! JJ

This UK company has developed a high-end yoke which might be of interest you. Its availability is being delayed by the virus lockdown that most of us are experiencing. More information and a short video are available at https://www.fulcrumsim.com and https://www.fulcrumsim.com/short-yoke-overview-video/ Protect yourself and others. Jean-Jacques

Why won't anyone respond to any of my forum topics anymore?

I think its time to give it a rest! -
I'm also looking to upgrade (from a 1080) but have you looked at the prices? Ridiculus! If I upgrade, I might as well add a few hundred dollards and get a 2080 Ti but the cheapest I could find is an MSI at +$1,500 Canadian. I just can't afford it at this time. My CH Yoke just ceased to operate after many years of service and must place its replacement top priority. It's replacement is also expensive (Fulcrum One). Sorry for bugging you with my financial challenges. Stay indoors and be safe. Regards, JJ

Thank you Chris. Looking forward to any new video. JJ

Hi Chris, First, congratulations on finding a local supplier for the missing parts. Second, I understand your reservation to 'opening the hood' of your creation for the whole world to examine. If it were my 'baby', I'd feel more relunctant despite knowing that, once sold, the new owner can take it appart as many have done with other products. I saw a video last year where Ray (Proudfoot ?) is trying a demo version of your yoke at a flightsim show. Instead of opening the hood, I would prefer an enhanced remake of that video in which the yoke's features, such as its smoothness, can be demonstrated and commented on. Just a thought. All the best, JJ
