  1. All this talk of using the HUD in the PMDG 737... I own both the 737-700 and the 737-900. I have no idea how to implement it. I scrutinized the FMS PMDG settings and there is no reference to HUD.
  2. Quite the list indeed. Now all we need is a proper working simulator with which to fly any plane.
  3. ...was thinking this Morning about all the anecdotal information I've heard in my lifetime about the French vacationing in August. 🥴
  4. I tried to name my plane registration as FXBOX67 and it was rejected.
  5. After loading the sim, I click on the FLY! button and it does not load. I waited half an hour and nothing. Finally, I just used Task Manager to close the program.
  6. I don't personally hold the idea that MSFS is ready for complex aircraft simulation. Eye candy, to me, is not an adequate flight simulation experience.
  7. I didn't know when I purchased Premium Deluxe upon release that I was being asked to invest in a work in progress not ready for serious simmers.. That being said, I'm still waiting. Meanwhile, P3D v5.1 is my simulator of choice.
  8. I apologize to those who may feel compelled to respond to this topic. Thankfully, I solved this through another's post. I changed the setting Options (menu bar) Other Controls from Direct Input to Raw Input. ...seems to work.
  9. I have recently purchased and installed P3D on my new PC. I had previously installed P3D V 4.5 with Hotfix 3. Things went well with V 4.5. I followed the developers' instructions on unistalling V 4.5 when I decided to try V 5. The installation of V 5 seemed to go well. However, upon attempting to use my Saitek Yoke System and Rudder Pedals, the left and right toe brake functions were not working as planned. When I attempted to reassign the axis within P3D to fix the toe brake problem, the process would only assign the X and Y axis to the left and right toe brake functions respectively. I have spent hours on trying to correct this problem; searching numerous forums for help. Please advise. Thank you Stephen A. Peil
  10. So nice to hear and so good for you. I'm ever hopeful for an installer without a hitch. Still waiting.Stephen A. Peil
  11. Well, that was helpful, Norm. So long as you took the time to comment, do you have any useful information regarding the installer? Thanks ever so much,Stephen A. Peil
  12. Thank you both for your support. What I was really after were words from one of the developers who may be able to say that the installer works without a hitch. They haven't commented. So, I assume that I'll just have to wait a while longer; perhaps, until they've been able to take an accounting and make a deposit....ever hopefulStephen A. Peil
  13. Really! Where do you obtain yours? I last tried it about a week ago and it was not withouth error. The livery installation is flawed as well. There are a couple of them that are obvious errors. Are you one of the almighty developers who may be qualified to attest to the installation process integrity?Yours,Stephen A. Peil
  14. I would like to know if there's an installer available for pre-order customers yet that works. Thanks,Stephen A. Peil
