Hello,

Under trip statistics on Garmin 430, it shows your average speed, max speed, trip distance and odometer. Where or which file does that information saved to because I want to make a backup of this file to keep the information rather than start all over?

Hi Brian,

This information is saved in the GNS non volatile memory in a binary format, which is not user editable.

This 'memory' is a binary file on your hard drive, one per (device type,unit #), typically at "C:\ProgramData\Garmin\GNS Trainer Data\GNS" with the name "sys_nand#". 

With #: a for 530 unit1, b for 530 unit2, c for 430 unit1, d for 430 unit2
