On the downside - they still didn't fix a bug where my VR HMS makes me sweat and destroys my hair.

Maybe in next version

Improved VR but still not on par with FlyInside

My experience is different. I did a fresh install on a completely new system and I am getting great performance in 2D and in VR. It is perhaps 90% of what I used to get with FlyInside, but the fact that I can use Chaseplane to navigate in the cockpit, get camera effects AND go to outside views really puts the native VR implementation at a higher level for me. Yes, you cannot import windows, but considering that I am using VR mostly for take-off, approach and landing, and going back to 2D for flight-planning/taxiing/cruise, I am not really missing that.

I also think it will play much nicer with complex addons such as the incoming FSLabs A320 and the Majestic, considering that they really never worked 100% with Flyinside.

Reeeeally happy with this update! Can't wait for native VR also to be in XP11.

That's a clever and great use of VR - for the bits only where you want it.

Yeah, great to hear some are happy with the new VR implementation in 4.1 and found a good way incorporating VR in their simming!
