See you took a Northerly route up there, over Frisco.  I flew Hawaiian with my wife and daughter in 2012 from Phoenix to Honolulu, nice airline with great service.  On my daughter's thirteenth birthday I took her on a Submarine ride off the pier by the Hilton.  The Hilton is the only hotel I would stay at, primly situated on the widest stretch of sand with its own private lagoon and fireworks show.  We waded in the warm waters of the pacific.  As for the sub it was unreal to be submerged 100 feet below the surface of the ocean.  We saw a sunken wreck and fish everywhere.

Great screenshots as always!

Good job! Great pics! QW 787 looks terrific! Love Hawaii.

1962 I went to work in reservations for PAA. My first offshore flight was on a Pan Am 707 to HNL. Fell in love instantly! They had air stairs, not jet ways, and when they opened the door on arrival a wave of Plumeria scent wafted into the cabin. Coming down the stairway you could see many lei stalls to the right and left(the smell was intoxicating) and there was a Hawaiian group playing and doing the hula and every deplaning psgr had an orchid lei put on them by a lovely Hawaiian hula dancer. It was captivating to say the least. Been there many times since.
