Livery installer question

Featured Replies

Using the livery manager, I am trying to install some new liveries for a few 737NGX WL aircraft. When I click the Click to Add button, a Document Library window opens. Among the list of files are Prepar3D v4 Files, and Prepar3D v4 Add-ons.

Alongside the empty filename space, is a small box with PMDG TexturePacks(*,ptp) in it. What do I do next ?, Never had this type of setup in the FSX version, they just used to install automatically.

Thanks

I'm confused.

If you downloaded your livery from the internet, did you unzip the file and place it in a known location such as your desktop?

If so, open the ops centre and go to the aircraft and use the livery manager to navigate to the location of your .ptp livery file in your set location.

It should then install and all should be good.

Are you doing this or something else?

You need to direct your mouse to that *.PTP file, click on it and if there are not hitches in your OC Livery Manager, it should in theory install that livery and show it as installed in the list on the left-hand side of other liveries. Not at my sim computer at the moment.

Sorry Guys,

My error, When I looked in the aircraft list in the sim, I only found the PMDG aircraft listed , which had no livery update, then scrolling through the whole list from top to bottom, I found them listed under Boeing. They were in alphabetic order. Problem solved !

Thanks,
