October 21, 20178 yr Hi, I have recently added P3D V4 to my system…………the last MS security update clobbered P3D v3, so I can’t fly. I uninstalled all my P3D v3 PMDG 737’s, 777’s, and the 747-400 I had purchased. The only thing remaining is the PMDG Operations Center, which has been updated to the latest version. I remember reading a long while back, where Robert R. suggested that we download the latest installers from the PMDG website, rather than down loading via the OP’s Center because of the need to update all the installers of this product? So my question is, should I download all the product 737, 777, & 747 installers from PMDG website and install them all manually, or has the OP’s Center now capable of both downloading and installing? October 22, 20178 yr You need to download the installers first, then run the Operations Center for the updates. The Operations Center doesn't have the capability of updating anything that isn't installed. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. October 22, 20178 yr Author Do you mean download installers, install, then run OP’s and up date? Thanks for your help. Bill Clark Windows 10 Pro, Ver 21H2 CPU I5-8600K 5.0GHz, GPU Nvidia RTX 3090 VRAM 24GB Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7, 2TB M2.NVMe, RAM 32GB
October 22, 20178 yr Your interpretation is correct, Bill. Ignore your old installers, and go download the latest installation files from your PMDG account. PMDG had made recent updates to the products that require a full, fresh download of the installation package. Install your aircraft, and once they're all in, run ops center and pull down the latest hotfixes since the installation packages were created. Lather, rinse, repeat! -Greg
