Amazing Cinematic VOZ Video

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,Some of you will know my name from previous video posts on these forums and as normal, I like to share my work with you. This is my latest offering and its a promo for Vista Australis 1.1. I've taken FS video making to new heights and used techniques that are normally used in real filmaking. If there is one FS video you will watch this month, make it this one...There are two resolution sizes and these vids are hosted on my own server (direct link, no adverts)http://www.arkitekture.net/movies/chasethesunhigh.zip (63mb WMV)http://www.arkitekture.net/movies/chasethesunmed.zip (41mb WMV)You can also visit my site for more videos just like thesehttp://www.arkitekture.netHere are some teasing stills from the video. The video frame is bigger.http://www.arkitekture.net/screenshots/vis1.jpghttp://www.arkitekture.net/screenshots/vis2.jpghttp://www.arkitekture.net/screenshots/vis3.jpghttp://www.arkitekture.net/screenshots/vis4.jpghttp://www.arkitekture.net/screenshots/vis5.jpgYou want Vista Australis 1.1? http://www.vistaoz.org

I am continually amazed at how Adey pushes the boundaries of what can be done with FS videos. I always love hearing about his new vids and especially when he uses VOZ as his pallette! Thanks for this one mate, it's yet another classic. If you haven't downloaded it yet, do yourself a favour ... :)

That video is amazing! I just recently started getting back into FS2004 and installed VOZ over the weekend but haven't had a chance to use it much. Now I can't wait!Quick question - that scene at 2:30 into it, where it shows the roads at night and the moving traffic - is that part of the package or is that something more that you have?

HiThe most amazing video I have ever seen. Excellent job!!!What software did you use for this one?RegardsStelios

I came here to leave a note saying "Amazing!" but I find that all of the four previous responders used some form of that word. So I suppose I'll be speechless. Thank you for this gift. R-

Ok, next question then :) I just quickly went in to Sydney at night and I couldn't see that. Is that everywhere or just in certain areas?

Those night lighting effects are in place in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Cairns, Townsville and Rockhampton - all in Queensland. They are part of Ross Casey's impressive Queensland Coast scenery which is now part of VOZ. The lighting is made using a tool called Ground2K4. I am hoping Ross can add the effect on major roads in other major cities too.

Thanks for the comments guys! The video was captured and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0
