November 14, 20178 yr I've seen this issue on a few of my addons now. Has anyone else seen this? Some parts of the aircraft are lit and some are in shadow? Also there are weird ellipses in spots of shadow and light. Pretty sure it was a shadow quality issue that I solved by increasing the opaque (or translucent?) shadow resolution in the cfg. gb. YSSY. It improves things a lot but not completely. As a bonus though 4096 really improves your VC shadow edges. I re-tested translucent shadow texture size values and they made no difference. Maybe someone else knows a setting that also affects shadow transition display? gb. YSSY. November 15, 20178 yr Don't dismiss the idea of graphic card drivers displaying textures incorrectly, it's slightly possible (try different version, maybe). Not probable but possible. You did say that some of your planes displayed that effect, could be textures used in those planes.
