ChasePlane crashes on start

Featured Replies

Hi Keven,

I've had CP for a couple of weeks, all good up until now. Spent a bit of time yesterday setting hot corners for various aircraft. Started the sim this morning and CP popped up the "Something unexpected happened" box.

Using the latest experimental version 0.4.73. I managed to access the preferences window before the program quit so I could change back to the standard version. That version will start and run fine, but if I swap back to 0.4.73 it will crash again.

As an experiment, I disabled the 'net connection so CP was forced to start off-line, and then it loaded and worked fine. Re-enabling the internet connection and CP crashes on load again.

Maybe it's a corrupt profile stored in the cloud, I don't know. The error log should have been sent automatically.

Any ideas?

Dave Garwood.

Wonderful, can you generate a report file from the Preferences and send it over to us? We have to find what went wrong from that log.

Thanks!
