November 21, 20178 yr I have tried all the suggested routes to getting the steering tiller to work, but the only thing that works is the mouse way. I am using the 64 bit pro version in Prepar3d v4.1. I have tried using the aileron axis setting no joy. I used FSUIPC to set the spoiler axis on my Saitek x52 twist rudder axis. When I start the majestic control panel this shows up as working in the steering tiller section by moving both ways. When I start the dash 8 and put the nose-wheel steering on and try to taxi I have no steering except when I use my rudder and differential brakes. This does not work very well. The only why I have been able to steer is by mouse nly and using the steering tiller which is very hard to do and steer the plane effectively. My system uses windows 7 pro. All the systems are at the newest versions. Can anyone offer some suggestions for my problem. Thanks in advance to everyone for their help.

I too can not get the tiller working as it did in P3dv3? I can only use the mouse in the 3d cockpit. I thought it was my bad install? Also I find the elevator does not respond as well as in P3dv3? The control inputs are not as smooth in V4 as they were in v3. Why can't the tiller have a link to the rudders? Regards. David.
November 23, 20178 yr Author The only way I can taxi is to open a window with an locked outside view, then use the steering tiller with the mouse to steer the plane. No matter how I set it the spoiler axis or the aileron axis I have to use the mouse. I really like the plane other wise.

Setting aileron axis to nose wheel steering in Mjc control panel, does not work in P3dv4. I have the Mjc installed in P3dv3, on a separate drive and it does work as per setting in the control panel?
November 25, 20178 yr Author I reinstalled mine to see if it would help and now my control panel shows no values for my flight controls. It also pauses my flight sim every time now. I use to bring the control panel up and mov the throttle to set the detent values no joy in that anymore. The control panel sends the info to the plane but nothing shows in the flight controls. This is getting very frustrating.
November 25, 20178 yr Hi guys, Just in case, maybe I'm wrong but have you a Fsx and P3Dv4 sim ? I have the two sim's and the two corresponding MJQ400 addons, I noticed that in the Windows Programs via Start in W7, the Majestic Software folder contains only the Fsx version (btw, I don't understand the reason !?)...So, if you open the Control Panel program via this menu you will find the Control Panel for Fsx. Of course any changes you make will not be reflected in P3Dv4...Just an idea...I had this problem by wanting to put the aircraft in cold & dark via the Control Panel . Regards, Yes, you may have something there! I have the P3dv3 version (installed on a separate drive in P3dv3) and have the P3dv4 version installed in V4 (on a separate drive). So delete the control panel from start menu and see if there is a control panel in the P3dv4 install folder. I am away from the OC at the moment. Worth looking at this! Cheers!

Regards, Yes that's it, spot on Richard! That CP can be used or; I re named the path to the control panel i was using for P3dv3, pointed it to the P3dv4 install of the Mjc Dash 8 and everything works! Thanks.
