November 26, 20178 yr Why do I love flying out of California? In such a short distance, you cover such a variety of terrain, from farmland to alpine terrain, then to desert. You'll spot the glacier-carved canyon of Yosemite. I love the C550 because of its autopilot, arguably the best of all of Carenado's aircraft. I like it because it uses pitch to hold indicated airspeed, then locks on to the preselected altitude. Better than autothrottles in my opinion. Also the C550 is a great hand flyer, if there is one jet to get, the C550 is the one. John
November 26, 20178 yr Sierra Nevada...one big chunk of granite and the photoscenery shows some rhyolite in the soil evidence of natures violent past! HLJAMES
