_{I was trying to get refuelling done with PMDG 737 NGX and MCE.}

_{When I request ramp for refuel, the fuel truck turns up and I hear I believe the truckmor mechanics voice ask "how much fuel do you want?".}

_{I have not been able to respond to this via voice, and end up punching thenumbers in the fuel page in FMC.}

_{My fuel is setup in LBS, so toload 13,500 lbs what would I have to say ?}

_{Andwill that then be input into fuel page in FMC?.}

Yes, as soon as the fuel truck is in position, the MCE mechanic asks you for the fuel figure.

It's important you specify the units.

 

By default, just in case you utter some invalid value mechanic always wants confirmation.

Once you have confirmed, Fo double checks the value is within aircraft l;imites and punches the numbers in FMC-CDU, otherwise he's ask you to reconsider, and mechanic will prompt again.

Mechanic: Please give us the fuel figure (or some other variation)

You: thirteen thousand five hundred pounds

Mechanic: Understood thirteen thousand five hundred.

You: affirmative or Yes  (without confirmation, Mechanic will wait a couple of minutes and prompt again)

Your welcome.

FO can even figure out FMC Kg/Lbs setting, and you could give the value in tons, and he's expected to convert it when CDU is taking pounds and vice versa.
