April 11, 200620 yr I can not find any libraries for military scenery. Most specifically military aircraft. I really have looked and searched just about all MSFS sites. Thanks for any help.ray
April 11, 200620 yr Author That is why I am doing some, LOL. Coming to an LZ near you shortly. Some complete Gmax LZ sceneries for those without EZScenery and a library for all the objects. More for heli ops, but also with airport objects.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir Internationalhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/146973.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/146974.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/146975.jpg Best, Michael KDFW
April 11, 200620 yr I really wanted just static planes and objects, just to make it clear that I really was not looking for ai traffic for the military airports. I would be nice to just see a few plans and stuff around so I would not feel like I am in the twylight zone. It is hard to believe that no one has come up with military static objects for ezscenery. I do like the ease of use of this product.
April 11, 200620 yr That's some pretty sweet looking scenery, Michael. http://www.commerciallevel.com/base/suppor...46supporter.jpg
April 11, 200620 yr If you're having trouble understanding why nobody has done it, try doing it yourself :)Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com/FC_StartJava.html] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-) Tom Perry
April 12, 200620 yr There are plenty of military AI aircraft out there. You'd have to create a flight plan for them or just replace the GA aircraft in any flight plan and recompile with Ttools. The planes will come and go how ever the flight plans are set.I don't know of any EZ Scenery type miltary aircraft. I'm not sure why you couldn't use any gMax model, be it building or aircraft for use with EZ Scenery but maybe someone out there can answer that.Terry
April 12, 200620 yr Author The reason you won't find many aircraft for a scenery program is that most use AI aircraft instead of static, non moving objects, they just look better and it's more realistic to have them moving. There are some good AI models out now so there isn't a need for them as scenery objects, but if the author wanted to, he could make his Gmax AI aircraft into objects for EZScenery very easily.I could have made aircraft for my scenery above, but why re-invent the wheel when there are plenty of AI models. Even the Chinook in the pics works well for AI as it was designed for multiplayer specifically.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW
