How would I go about changing the default head to panel view. Many times I get into a plane and I amsitting to close to the panel (this is for vc panel) so I us the zoom in or out to get to the right distance. Iwould like to make a permanent change to the view so it is always the same distance from the panel.I hope this an understandable question. There must be a line in the panel.cfg that will do this. Thank you for any help.

I have downloaded the stuff for Avenger (in FSX) and the cockpit glass is the only bad part, I can not see through it. Is there a texture I might have missed. I just got the sp1 update. I have searched the forum for this issue and could not find an answer. Sorry if I missed it and this has been answered already.

I am still not able to get it to work. I have checked the help page and I guess if I want to get it to work,I will have to reinstall FSX. If that is what it takes, I guess I will not have a toolbox for a while. I am wondering if it is 64bit that is the problem, I should have stated that that is what I am using - Vista 64bit. Let me know if you get yours working.

I have been trying to get the toolbox to show up in FSX for along time. Let me know if you will need more info. It will just not show up. I have the acceleration addon. It is to bad, that there are so many different ideas of fs9 ai in fsx. I just don't know what to believe. I know that ever one beleives he/she is sure of his/her answer, but just wish there could be one person with out an axe to grind, that would tell it straight. I am not trying to get people all upset, just stating an opinion. I would love to bring my Traffic 2005 stuff over to FSX, but just not sure of the effects on other traffic (ships and vehicles). Well just my opinion.

The other problem is finding out where the oil rigs are located. Do I have to make a mission to place my own oil rig, or are theresome rigs already in certain areas. Seems like all the rigs are in the mission flights. I sure hope this is not a stupid question. Thanks for any help.

Is there any way I can practice flying to and landing on an oil rig? I just want to practice in free flight mode.

I wonder if any owners of the above aircraft might give me any of there thoughts on this aircraft. I know it has been around for a while, but I would like to know if it is worth purchasing. I am having trouble with a single engine trail dragger. I have googled every fs site I can find to look for my problem. I have a many WWl and newer tail draggers and most turn fine,with the help of differential braking and rudder pedals. I have a couple ( a spade and a folker Dr.1 ) that are really stubborn. They will not turn at all. I have to go to slew mode toget them lined up with the runway and after any flight I go back to slew mode when I want to ground turn them. I know tail draggers are supposed to be hard to turn, but this is just impossible. I saw a fix with the DC3, but not with smaller tail draggers. I saw something about the contact points, but after looking there, my eyes went blurry and I just gave up. If any kind person could give me any help it would be greatly appreciated. I love the tri wing Dr.1 and would love to be able to ground steer it just a little. ray

Well you are not alone. I am having the same thing happen. I can't tell you how to fix it, but now I am thinking it might be one of my newly installed aircraft. I have tried everything that I can think of to rectify this situation, to no avail. If you find out anything, please post here and I will do the same. This just started happening.

I have been looking for a aircraft carrier that might be parked of the golf. I wanted to be able to take off and fly to Iraq and return to the carrier and land. I have flight deck III, so hope I can find a set up that would work for that package. I have seen many carriers, but have not seen any for the area. I have tried many searches with little luck so far. I know I am just not finding the right search word yet.

Are there any freeware voice set, so that if you are in (say) south america, that you will here a voice with an accent to match that area? I really dislike that MS just put in American accented voices. Thanks for any help.ray

I really wanted just static planes and objects, just to make it clear that I really was not looking for ai traffic for the military airports. I would be nice to just see a few plans and stuff around so I would not feel like I am in the twylight zone. It is hard to believe that no one has come up with military static objects for ezscenery. I do like the ease of use of this product.

I can not find any libraries for military scenery. Most specifically military aircraft. I really have looked and searched just about all MSFS sites. Thanks for any help.ray

I was wondering if many captians were still using this product. I was thinking of getting it and just wanted to know if I should get the more modern ( and expensive ) PMDG 747. The price for RFPB is alot better.

Another thing that would be cool, is if you could make runways and whole airports with EZscenery. I have Ezscenery and really love it.

At least now I now where to find the info I need, I am sure I will have to do this again (sometime) and it will make it alot easier next time. Ok this is really strange. I found the guage files on the dvds, but the ones that I am missing are not there. I think I checked every cab file and I just don't understand what is going on. It seems that all the guages that are marked like this (Cessna!) are not any place to be found. I can find the other cessna guages, but none marked like this,(Cessna!). I sure hope this is making sense to some one, because it sure in not to me. I think I am in the twlight zone or something. Can any one tell me if there is a english check list for this aircraft. I the manual is in enlish, but the check list is not. It sure is a great looking plane, I just really like to fly with a check list from prestart to shut down. Thanks for any help. ray

I hope some one can help me. I reinstalled FS2002 and I am getting bad sound when I am in the 2d panel view. In all other views the sound is great, just bad in the 2d panel wiew. I have checked all the tricks and tips and all other forums, but have not found any help. I am using XP and a creative live sound card. The sound is great outside FS and all other games and programs sound great. Just this one sound issue. Thanks for any help. It is driving me crazy. I have tried about everything I can to help, new sound drivers and ajusting just about everything in the sim and out. ray
