April 5, 200620 yr I was wondering if many captians were still using this product. I was thinking of getting it and just wanted to know if I should get the more modern ( and expensive ) PMDG 747. The price for RFPB is alot better.
April 5, 200620 yr I have it and thoroughly enjoy it. If you are into the steam gauge era aircraft you'll like the RFP...DJ
April 5, 200620 yr It's a different aircraft entirely. Much more hands on and a whole lot of fun. I fly it all the time and love it. While it dosn't have the avionics that the 747-400 has it is very much an accurate rendition of a 747-200. billg
April 5, 200620 yr I've heard the RFPB 747 has to be always started without the engines running. Is this true? There are times I just want to control-E the engines(or have the engines running when selected) and go flying. Also how are the graphics compared to say pmdg or df? Thanks, Dave
April 5, 200620 yr Author >I've heard the RFPB 747 has to be always started without the>engines running. Is this true? I usually start from a saved situation with the engines running, its never been a problem for me. But I can't recall If I had to start them the first time or not. In any event this will not be a problem.I also still use RFP 742 regularly, I really enjoy this product. I do recommend it.Regards.Ernie.
