December 4, 20178 yr Hi! Have completed about 90 hours of trouble-free flights with my B-744 license. Yesterday I got trouble with the flight planning. When I enter the route in CDU, "HOLD" is added automatically. "HOLD" is programmed both at departure and arrive. I have not intended to use the "HOLD" function. Certain procedures include mandatory holds, so they're added in automatically. It's very, very important that you don't assume things are problems simply because they are unexpected, by the way.
