stearing problems in XP11

Featured Replies

In X plane 11 after properly setting up my joystick and configuring it accurately, I seem to be skewing across the runway, unable to effectively travel in a straight line. Is this a bug with XP11 or something else? I'm quite baffled! Any advice would be appreciated

Regards

Alan

No, not necessarily a bug. If the runway isn´t even, you have wind from the side or you are in a prop plane you have effects that try to turn you from the straight line.

Some XP 10 planes seem to be worse than others for this problem. What plane are you talking about here?

I7-6700k 32 gig RAM, NVIDIA GTX-980 TI 6G RAM, GTX-460, Saitek X55 throttle, Combat rudder pedals, CH Eclipse yoke,TrackIR 5, 5 monitors (main is 40" 4k), Corsair K95 RGB k/b, Win 7 x64. X-Plane XP 11.1+

XP's ground handling is pretty terrible. So there's probably nothing wrong.

With the 11.10 version, I find that they handle much better.  If this is still an issue, you might try deleting the "Preferences" folder as mentioned many times on these posts.
