Here is an interesting dilemma which is certainly not a "killer" but I swear that I used to be able to hear the gate alarm as the gate moved into position after I started FS2Crew 737NG and now I can't.  I checked with the FS2Crew A320 and 777 and I hear it with both those but not the 737 Reboot, but all the other sounds seem to play normally.

Certainly not a huge deal and in no way impacts flying but just wondering if anyone else has encountered this.

You should hear a faint bell (ringing sound).

It's set to come out of left surround.  Could be the way your speakers are setup.
