Wierd lighting issue in v4

Featured Replies

Hello,

I was doing a KBLI - CYYC flight in the Q400. Up until the time I was taxiing into the gate at CYYC, there was no problems. All of a sudden, the lighting changed all of a sudden. Where it was once a previously a well lit apron under white lights, there is now a visible colour spectrum. Also, it would appear that the lights do not fall on the ground, which is unlit, but a few feet above the ground. You can see the screenshots below :

I do not use any shader tool such as URP or PTA.

Any thoughts as to what might be causing this ?

I thought it might be a shader issue, so I tried to delete the Shaders folder, but could not find one in either ProgramData, or the AppData\Roaming folders

Cheers

Shaders are in AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3Dv4

Thank you. Just to confirm, this shader folder can be deleted and then can be rebuilt by running the sim ?

Yes, the one in the %localAppdata%/Lockheed Martin folder.  Do NOT delete the ShadersHLSL folderin the P3D root.

the local will be rebuilt - you'll notice a slightly slower load time initially

Thanks for your help gents. Unfortunately, deleting the Shaders folder has not fixed the problem. However, now the problem is only contained to the CYYC by FSIMSTUDIOUS now. I will submit a support request to the devs, but it being Christmas, I do expect a quick response.

Does anyone who has the scenery know has had a similar problem or know of a fix ?
