2D Panel Zoom

Hello,

I would like to use the 0.5 Zoom as default zoom for the 2D panel. If i zoom manually, the aircraft looks like it's pointing down. How could I fix this?

In the Camera.cfg you can set everything you want about the 2D "cockpit" view... As long as there is no special section in the aircraft.cfg (and there is none for the PMDG airplanes) it will use this setting. 

 

initialzoom = 0.5 

 

and you will probably want to adjust the initialpbh value (maybe you have to add it. it alters the direction of view.

the camera.cfg is located in users/yourname/appdata/roaming/[fsx or p3d]

Hi,

Thank you for your fast response. I opened the camera.cfg and I found the intialzoom for both cockpit and VC to be = 1.0, although it is really 0.3 when I load the aircraft. am I missing something here?

It‘s the same for me, I haven‘t figured out why. But when I press backspace on my keyboard it resets to this value set in the camera.cfg or aircraft.cfg.

   WideViewAspect=True  you  got  this  in your  fsx,cfg  at all?

The value is set to False
