Can someone explain the functions and correct use/settings for the CP menu item shown in the image. I was under the impression it was for adjusting camera effects in cinema external mode. What exactly do sinusoidal, quadratic, cubic etc mean and what do they achieve? I have tried all manner of adjustments and combinations but they seem to have little affect when in cinema mode.

 

Hi Steve,

The Easing function box is under the Transition section. This allows you to chose how cameras transition from one to the other.

The craphical curve shown indicate how the transition occurs. In the picture, sharp at the start and smooth at the end. You can experiment with them and chose the one you like.

Thanks for your reply, as mentioned I have experimented with them but I have been unable to get any noticeable effect or difference when changing between transitioning functions, perhaps someone would be kind enough to produce a tutorial or video showing how they work.
