ok, we have Cessna Sunday every Sunday, King Air on Wednesdays, Thunder Thursdays, Foggy Fridays all in default FSX multiplayer mode.  I have not found another airplane that don't work with FSUIPC, I'm not saying there are none.

I understand the PMDG 747 is an add-on.  To me common sense dictates that when building an aircraft for FSX that you build around the two default of FSX Multiplayer and Free Flight modes. And, the number one interface program that almost every additional piece of software and hardware uses with FSX. If you don't accomplish what is stated above what are you building.

When I first started using PMDG 747 I flew in Free Flight mode learning the aircraft and how to program the FMC. I am now quite good at flying the aircraft and the FMC seems easy to me now, not at first. Then I was ready to take it to multiplayer mode and fly with my friends. It worked, I was having fun flying all the different hops all around the world with my flying club. Then after updates it no longer works and I am now told it all was a coincidence. I am now forced to fly the default aircraft or some 747s provided by my flying club, they have more options but nothing like PMDG 747.

I guess I will just have to enjoy Free Flight mode until things change. I love flying the PMDG 747. My friends seems to have success flying in multiplayer mode with the PMDG 777. I plan to purchase the PMDG 777 so I can enjoy Multiplayer mode.

I will continue to do the updates, and reading the forums here and other locations looking for a fix. I will also contact FSUIPC and explain the problem and see if they have a fix. If I come up with anything I will let you all know.

Thank you all,

Sorry - definitely no on this one. This function is antiquated and deprecated. It is not common sense to build something for a broken and rarely used function which is also not really aimed at the audience we aim for. The FSX Multiplayer function is very rarely used amongst the community of people who uses realistic add-ons. If anyone is flying a PMDG aircraft, the default online networks are VATSIM and IVAO. Both are built to a realistic standard that is not present in the default (and hacky) multiplayer function. This isn't like a AAA game out there - Call of Duty, Battlefield, or Forza - where the environments are refined, and the single player and multiplayer environments are very well integrated. This is quite different, as you can see with the behavior of the aircraft.

Moreover, your first example uses all default aircraft. Anyone can shove a default aircraft into anything sim related. Try setting one of our aircraft (or any other complex add-on) as the default aircraft in the sim and let me know how that works out for you. Similar concept. We're pushing the limits of what the sim can handle to deliver realism. We can hack all of that out, but then you'd be left with one of those old default 744s, which you already had for free.

I'd argue that there is something else at play here. We really didn't change anything that would alter this behavior. Either way, the function you're trying to use was never guaranteed by us to work. Anyone who uses our stuff online is really going to be found on something like VATSIM or IVAO.

They, like you, are likely just getting lucky with it happening to work. If your aim is the default multiplayer stuff, I'd honestly hold off on purchasing our other aircraft. We can't guarantee they'll work there, and I don't want you to spend money on something you're not going to be able to use how you'd want. I'd really recommend getting into VATSIM, honestly.

If it's gamey camaraderie, then I'd stick to less-realistic aircraft that definitely work in multi. If you're looking for realism, we're here for you. We'd be sacrificing quality, however, to try to stand in both arenas.
