Newbie Install Problems (solved)

I've not started the Windows Version, but this should be similar: in the latest V5, the top of the window shows your video card model, and next to it, there is a drop down with 'core' or 'compatibility'.

I found it and generated a report using Forward Context 4.6 BUT I do not see the spoiler in the editor and don't want to post it in the clear. The reply header shows only Bold,Italic, Underline, Link file, Quote, Emoticons, bullet list, numbered list and Preview.  No Spoiler?

I am thinking about just using a clean install of Windows 10 since it has been a while and I had lots of old "junk".  My original plan was to tightly restrict this computer to sim use and only basic needed files but over time in my work wit Sim Innovations I installed Visual Studio and many Resdistributable versions.  Also Open Broadcast, ect, ect.  I think starting form scratch may benefit me in may ways as I am rebuilding my sim.  Do you think this may solve my problem with OpenGL and RXP GTN?

Besides, I can't confirm reinstalling everything would solve the OGL issue reported, but this sounds like using a hammer. Don't you have any 'compatibility' choice for the report, just 'core' and 'forward' ?

Thanks for your help but I chose the hammer...  my windows 10 install is a couple years old and was in need of some maintenance. I am happy to report that reinstalling windows10 and the nVidia drivers did the trick. The GTN is running great now.  So is XP11.

I appreciate your patience with me.

This sounds great, I'm glad all is working fine now!
