Hi, I was installing FSX Acceleration pack and it installed successfully but however, when I tried opening fsx, it said scenery.cfg is not installed and I fixed that by downloading one online but then after that, it said seasons.cfg is missing. Not sure what to do now

Did you install FSX Deluxe first?

Yes but I forgot to install acceleration after that so a couple of years later, I found it and I decided to install it and it did successfully a few days ago but when I started FSX up, it gave me a warning saying that scenery.cfg is missing and I fixed that by downloading one online but now it's giving me another warning saying "The 'Seasons.bgl' file is missing or damaged. Please reinstall Flight Simulator to restore or repair the file. Flight Simulator will now exit"

Did you have SP1 and SP2 installed with the Deluxe version before trying to install Acceleration?  If

so, did you uninstall those before attempting Accel?

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

SP1 was installed along with SP2 with the Deluxe version but when I started to install acceleration it said I have to delete SP2 for the Acceleration SP to be installed so I did that and then when I started up FSX that's when it started to say "scenery.cfg is missing or damaged" and I fixed that by downloading one online but it gave me another warning saying "seasons.bgl is missing or damaged"
