I have the GTX 1080 AERO OC 8 GB Graphics card and 2x DDR 4 RAM 8GB? That's a good combination. Personally I'd like at least 16G ram just for "breathing room" but 8G will suffice. I know I sound like a broken record but, IMHO, the secret of having an enjoyable flight sim is finding the balance of settings with your specific hardware. I find that seeking the LOWEST fps where you can maintain smooth performance and high graphics is the way to go. This is opposite of what we used to do in FSX where we were looking for high fps. P3d is a different animal in this regard. With the right settings, your system should do just fine. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

Vic Okay, thank you Vic for your help. I watch many Youtube videos with P3D v3 and v4. Well, I'm getting more and more acquainted with the P3D v4. Now I'm just waiting for a few aircraft to become compatible with the P3D v4 so I can buy the P3D v4.

But What should I do with P3D v4 SDK setup ???
June 10, 20187 yr Moderator Unless you plan on using it to develop apps you can leave it alone. Otherwise just install it anywhere you want so you can easily refer to it when necessary. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

Vic Hi vgbaron, I have a "big question" How can I get the best graphic, World Scenery. shotly said how can i get the best of P3D v4??? My pc inside: Graphic card GTX 1080 Aero 8GB i5 7600k RAM: 16GB 24000 MHz DDR4.
June 15, 20187 yr Moderator LOL! Tough question with no easy answer. Each system is different, even two systems with the same parts will be different so there is no one answer. First of all, P3D is NOT FSX - there are only one or two possible tweaks to P3D that might make any difference so do NOT start out by slamming all the old FSX tweaks into P3D. Use ONLY add ons that are known compatible or specifically made for P3D - do not try to cut and paste an old add on from FSX - even if ti works, you are asking for trouble. Don 't chase the FPS genie - with P3D more fsp does not always mean a better experience. Tune your system to get the SMOOTHEST performance with the LOWEST FPS. That only comes with trial and error. Lastly, read these forums, there are tons of really good information here. Enjoy, Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

God fornøjelse, Vic Hi vgbaron, It's was also a difficult question but thanks for your reply. I have experienced a small problems with airports for P3D v4. Aerosoft and a person from this forum have a check list for which airports there are compitable for P3D v4. So when I tried to install For example Bali X so are there a box where you er need to choose your simulation platform. But P3D v4 are not on the list??? I have also experienced from other airport that a box pops up and in that box it says: could not found your P3D v4 folder. What???? Can you also tell me which hardisc are best to install P3D v4 on. Should it be on the hard drive where my windows system is on or can I install it on another drive ??? Can you help me.
June 16, 20187 yr Moderator Ideally you want P3D on it's own drive, preferably an SSD but it will work quite well if it shares space on the system drive. If it is on the same drive install it into it's own folder - like C:/P3D4 or something like that. As to the airport scenery - best to contact the developer and see if they have a specific installer for P3D. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

Hvis det er på samme drev, installer det det i sin egen mappe - som 😄 / P3D4 eller noget lignende. Med hensyn til lufthavnens natur - bedst at kontakte bygherren og se om de har et bestemt installationsprogram til P3D. Vic Hi vgbaron, Thank you for your help. You have been a great help to me and you have to thank. Now I have almost answered all my questions and solved the small problems I've had. I would return if I needed help again.

This time I should install a new airport, and then this happened a box opened up where it stood: (P3D install path could not found: > D:\ Programs\<) What??? Firstly I don't have a folder in my D:\ drive called Programs? and secondly how can it disappear from my P3D v4 Pro folder ??? can you help me again. Regards Startour. June 17, 20187 yr Moderator Is the airport compatible with P3D4? Are you using the CORRECT installer fpr that airport and P3D4? if the above are yes, reinstall and go slowly, see if they give you an option to "change" the destination and then browse to your P3D4 install. Which airport? and you might contact the developer to see if they have a clue. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

Vic I can not uninstall the airport, because It was not installed then it could not find P3D install. But now I've tried to see if I could install the airport, but it still lacks the P3D install. But now I try to talk with someone from the P3D forum. otherwise I can talk to Aerosoft when they starbag Gibraltar Professional. Edited June 17, 20187 yr by Startour
