My PFD shows WX+T -2A but no weather radar :( The weather is updated and XGauge works correctly when I press Shift+5 Maybe I don't understand what this radar is going to show. Does it show only rain clouds or something more? Currently the sky is very cloudy without rain. The weather radar is on your ND (Navigation Display) next to the PFD. The radar on WX+T mode depicts precipitation, turbulence (and icing?). When you're not seeing anything even though the radar is turned on it means there is nothing to display. It won't show normal clouds.
January 27, 20188 yr Author Understood. I've set the custom weather just to check that and it works correctly. Thanks! Intel i7-7700k @ 4.8 GHz / Gigabyte GA-Z270X-Ultra Gaming GoodRAM Iridium Red 2x8GB 2400MHz DDR4 Gigabyte GTX-1060 6GB
January 30, 20188 yr Author I have one more question - what is the purpose of using ASCA? Is this something about cloud textures? Summarizing currently I have ASP4, PTA and ENVTEX. Is it worth to buy ASCA too? Intel i7-7700k @ 4.8 GHz / Gigabyte GA-Z270X-Ultra Gaming GoodRAM Iridium Red 2x8GB 2400MHz DDR4 Gigabyte GTX-1060 6GB
January 30, 20188 yr Moderator IMO, yes definitely. You get superb skies and clouds that are enhanced by PTA. Using ASCA with Envtex is a great combination. The ability to dynamically change the environment on the fly when in the sim is ASCA's main strength. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
