LorbyLiveTraffic V4 - Error Message

Featured Replies

Hi

I am running LorbyLiveTraffic V4 on a networked PC with real traffic and have no issues with traffic which works very well. However every time I start up LorbyLiveTraffic and after selecting the cameras.cfg I get this error message.

"Could not find a part of the path Z:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 747-400F\sim.cfg" I've searched for sim.cfg but haven't found any. PMDG 747 is installed and working. Be grateful to know why this happens

to avoid this error.

Thanks for such a great program

Hello Joaquin,

I am not sure that I understand the relation with the LorbyLiveTraffic - why "select the cameras.cfg"? Why would you do that and how?

That error message - where does it come from, which program is writing it? Can you post a screenshot here? Otherwise, you can send it to me via email too, address is usually on the last page of the user manual.

Best regards

Hello Joaquin,

OK, this is caused by the networked operations. I didn't expect people would be doing that. The LiveTraffic tries to read your camera configurations (sim and aircraft) and that of course can't work if it is not running on the same machine (the simulator reports where it sees the files on its own machine).

I have made a 1.04 b2 real quick and sent you the download link. This version will simply ignore those issues - if it can't find the files, it will not complain. But at the same time you won't have the "View AI" entry in the context menu, because that can't work without knowing the camera configuration.

Best regards

Very thankful for the new version installer which is working great. Not too worried about following AI.
