January 30, 20188 yr Hello, I've had a look around for the answer and seem to get conflicting responses, how do I customize the FA announcements In the Dash 8? I've trimmed the relevant audio In Audicity, I found where the announcements are In the majestic folders; but I cant for the life of me get my custom audio to play In the Dash 8... Could somebody explain to me the process please?? Kind Regards Adam Chapman
July 12, 20187 yr ...\SimObjects\Airplanes\mjc8q400\sound\announcement\default is where the files live. Note that you can personalize cabin announcements PER LIVERY by creating a subfolder in the livery's folder with the same file hierarchy that the default announcements. You can record them using Wavepad, Audacity, probably even Windows Sound Recorder. But you must ensure the file is in same format; not just wav, but stereo/mono, same rate, same frequency etc otherwise it won't play.
