I don't see any planes in the plane selection dialog

Featured Replies

I have discovered that I no longer see in plane images in the plane selection dialogs in FS9. It's the same for default and the addon from Realair. Actually it has been like this after installing the realair and PAI and some sceneries. What could that be?

But if I start FS9 throught the safe mode then I see them as supposed to do?

I think this happens with nVidia video cards if you have anti-aliasing enabled in video card's control panel.

More accurately, this sometimes happens with AA settings higher than 4x. Have you changed drivers or AA/AF settings recently?

your getting the "Black Box" right?

>More accurately, this sometimes happens with AA settings>higher than 4x. Have you changed drivers or AA/AF settings>recently?Yes I had set AA to 8xS (what does that mean BTW) and the problem disapperaed when I set it to 4x instead. 4x does not sound much. Is this the highest possible setting with my new 6600GT videocard?

>your getting the "Black Box" right?Yes a total black box with neither planes or mousepointer.

The only way I found around it with the new Nvidia drivers is to either change the game resolution, set AA to Application controlled, or roll back the drivers...Nvidia support was 0 help.
