They did exactly this in Oct of last year and it took until Dec to get a fix in place...plus they force driver updates that can cause issues. You have to go to great lengths to stop the auto-updates from surprising you. The only reason I would ever recommend you update is if you upgrade to a new CPU/chipset that doesn't support Win 7. Win 10 has given me many hours of throbbing headaches, and it does not function any better as an OS base for FSX or P3D than Win 7. Why risk it on a currently functioning machine? It's easy to prevent driver updates in Windows 10. See: https://pureinfotech.com/exclude-driver-updates-windows-10/ - I haven't had a single driver update since installing Windows 10. i7-14700k | Asus ROG STRIX Z790-F Gaming WIFI | 32GB DDR5 RAM | MSI RTX 4080 Super | WD Black SN850X 1TB & 2TB | Corsair HX1000i ATX3.0 | MSI MAG401QR 40" monitor | Win 11 Pro 64-bit | Meta Quest 3
