Slow GNS500W in FSX (32 Bit) AMD Dual Core Processor

Recommended Posts

Hi, The GNS530 loads, starts up and runs while aircraft is on the ground. I can load and save flight plans and everything seems to work as advertised. Once it starts to roll the 530 becomes very slow. Tried to find help on the forum but cannot find an answer. Thanks

Ok got it to run at a good speed. I am running Multicore Environment Advanced and had The FSX set to High on Priority Class. Had  to back off to Above Normal. Now the Aircraft will not lock on to the course with the nav/gps switch in gps mode. The aircraft needles and cdi are hooked up to the GPS and displaying properly. I am operating windows 8 and FSX with Acceleration Pack. Have read something about a bad  sim1.dll   Is this possible? Must be something with it linking up. The ini file is set up properly and the report files look good. Here is the INI file:

What about just running FSX at normal priority?

Thanks for the reply.... Have tried it on normal still no joy on getting the GPS to Link up to the Autopilot. Have also tried to run FSX normally without the Multicore and still the GPS does not link up to the Autopilot commands. There is not connections there.  The original GPS links up to the autopilot and will fly the aircraft. Could it something in the rxpSimCom32.dll or sim1.dll????

Hi and sorry for the delay, we've just released v2.3.10 which fixes the A/P coupling.
