Presets not stable

Featured Replies

Hello Experts     Sim = P3D V4.2

I made several presets on different airplanes without having problems exept with the iFly B737-800 with all installed textures.

After loading the B737 and begin to operate the aircraft the presets changes from inside presets to the outside presets automatically.

If I switch back to the inside presets after a few seconds the same situation again it changes to the outside presets.

I programmed all onboard preset changes with the right side keyboard arrow and

the out side presets changes with the  left Keyboard arrow.

In order to find the Trouble I made a re-install of chaseplane Software but still the same problem.

I also exchanged all views within the B737-800 aircraft.cfg to views never used with chase plane but still no succsess.

What could be the trouble source ?

Where does chaseplane store the presets ?

Hope for suggestions.

regards Roger

A few observations, questions and potential fixes:

1: This issue is not related to your ChasePlane installation;

2: The issue is not in the Presets themselves;

3: Try to notice if the view changes after a specific keystroke is pressed;

4: If it is related to a specific keystroke, check in your Control Assignments if anything could be conflicting;

5: Is it going to a specific preset all of the time or does it go the last active camera in Outside mode?

Dear Keven

Have many thanks for helping me.

I agree with you the problem is not caused by chaseplane.

I checked again the arrow button on the Keyboard and there is no other action implemented.

The view changes happens only if I move the mouse over the monitor screen close to the monitor edges.

If I have open an inside view it changes to outside and short time after to an other outside view, not to the last outside view.

I think ist releated to the mouse actions. If I do not move the mouse nothing will be changed.

If the view changes to outside by moving the mouse to the edge the outside view does not change to the inside but outside chnages to an other preset.

Need further Support.

Hi roger,

Check your settings within chaseplane : go to <Aircraft> <Hot Corners> and see if there are some settings in there.  If you don't want to change views set them to "None", otherwise select to your needings.

Hotcorner is a feature that enable you to select other views when moving the mouse to the edge of the screen.  After reading your last post it could be related to this setting in Chase Plane.

Hope this helps you...

Hello Headley

Hello Keven

Have many thanks for your good support. Due to Headley's advice I could find the problem source.

As you told the problem had been caused within the hot corners where some of them were activ.

To de-activate them I did not find the right command because the scroll bar was just in the middle of preset commands.

The None command was not visible. Only if you move the scrollbar to the top you can recognize this specific command "None" at the first position.

Right now I have one more knowledge of the fantastic ChasePlane.

Again thanks and best regards Roger
