Performance

Featured Replies

Would it be possible for any of the beta testers to tell us how performance compares to PMDG NG/777

A simple load at the same airport under the same setting will quickly show is FPS are better-same-lower

It would be very helpful if someone could report. The amount of FPS is no so interesting as the comparison of better-same-lower.

Since most flight simmers have the NG it would be nice to know what we can expect.

If it is lower the percentage would be helpful.

Also are the FPS consistent like the PMDG's or fluctuate like the FSL A320.

Thank you.

A very generic observation in the exact same place, on ground at the gate, with an average scenery and AS running.

Maddog X: 43 pretty steady (42-45)

PMDG 737: 40-47 fluctuating

PMDG 777: 42-46 fluctuating

PMDG 747: fluctuating around 40

FSLabs: fluctuating 25-34

I think it can be considered generally in line with all the above add-ons in terms of performance demand; just by my observation it seems to be the one with steadier figures (it if means anything at all).

Hope this helps.

Here's also a Youtube vid of one of the beta testers with the maddog.  Look pretty smooth to me.

Thank you so much.

When I have done my own FPS with the 737-777-747, just like you I find the NG-777 the same the 747 lower and FSL as you have put.

So the MadDog sounds really stable and great performance.

Looking forward to it even more now.

Thanks again for your reply.
