February 17, 20188 yr Hi, after playing around with the tool more and understanding better how the P3D v4 addons flow works, this tool is a must have and is so so so amazing. I want to thank you very much for creating us such a necessity tool. I got few Questions. 1. on Groups TAB, what is the sort order? is it possible to sort them Alphabetically? 2. how do I select multiple entries using the SHIFT key? , using the built in multi selection function means i need to click each and every one (let's say i got 20 in a row, how can i SHIFT/CTRL them? 3. where can i find the What's New / change log of each new version release of the tool? 4. same as the above, but in the documentation (document change information / updated chapters/sections, etc.) 5. is there any search function in the tool? after a while you have many lines in the other addons / packages, hard to find what you looking for in the stack of lines there :) Joel Strikovsky
February 17, 20188 yr Commercial Member Hello Joel, 1. Changed in 1.28 B02 to alphabetic sort. Version is available for download. 2. Afraid that this kind of control is not possible with the standard Windows Forms Treeview. The checkboxes are the best I can do with the least possible effort. 3. If you ask for it, I will post it, otherwise it is not on public record (see below the last couple of updates). If a significant change is made or a bugfix I usually post a note here in the forum and/or on the Lorby-SI website under "NEWS" 4. I don't keep changelogs for documentation. All assets are checked into my source code management tool alongside the actual sources. Documentation is updated when a new feature makes it necessary or if I build a new version 5. I have thought about search - but I am not sure about how to present the result. A separate windows showing the search result is useless, and the treeviews are way too complex already to take on new functionality. February 17, 20188 yr Author wow, amazing!!! i understand. as for the application change log, if it's not to much troublesome , maybe you can just have it included in the Zip file we download. i am sure many would like it. :)) . why do i think change log is important... that way we can expect new app behaviours (like bug fixes, etc) and it also makes us be aware of new features in which there is a god chance we wouldn't spot it. but it's up to you.. if its to much of a work for you than nevermind, as it is you did an amazing job , thanks a million !!!
