May 24, 200620 yr I just visited SamDim's site (http://www.chez.com/samdim/home.html) since I haven't logged in there for some time and still see the same page with future add-ons mentioned but I haven't seen any progress for over a year or more. Also there doesn't seem to show how to contact them. Anyone have up-to-date information? I remember too that they used to have a forum here, but that is gone as well. I would like to get ahold of them,or anyone, so as to see how I can modify the TU114 model's air file or whatever file necessary. As of this moment it rotates @ about 140 kts and lifts off @ about 145 with a full load of fuel and passengers. In fact, it is overweight by some 77000 lbs. and still flys off the runway like a balloon, using hardly any runway. This just doesn't seem realistic. In the air it flys great. As to how realistic, I don't know. But would like to see a more realistic take-off.Thanks for any help.
May 24, 200620 yr Author Fixed the take-off problem by downloading and installing again all of the TU-114 files and liveries. The readme says that the TU-126 version updated the air file for all models and now it is more realistic. Also I wasn't getting instument lighting in the VC before, but that is now fixed also. Thanks again for the update on the address for Simdim, although, in the downloads for the TU-114 the old address still is referenced.
