Weather Radar not working

Featured Replies

I tried turning on the weather radar by turning it on but none of the switches seem to work. I can turn the knobs but none of the buttons do anything. I get a hand pointer when I hover over them. I have ActiveSky set as my weather client in the load manager. Just seems like its not getting power.

Had the same problem and finally figured out that I had to go to the xgauge setup in Activesky and load it into my planes. It ran fine after that.

I figured it out. Forgot the black knob on the display. Thanks for the suggestion.

That should not have been necessary.  Which sim are you using?

Using P3d V4.1. Weather radar worked in my other planes, but wouldn't in the Maddog until I reran the xgauge.

The MaddogX was released for V4.2, and we strongly recommend using 4.2 with it, otherwise you might have some issues like this with older variants. Updating the P3D Client is all that is necessary.

Also, the AS XGauge does not have anything to do with the Weather Radar as displayed on the ND of any aircraft, so it might have just been a coincidence.

Best wishes.

Good day! I have a problem with my Weather Radar.

I use Active Sky (with fix for 4.2)  and P3Dv4.2

When I load my simulator, weather radar works in the begining. After a few seconds I don`t see WR indications on ND.
