Thanks, Hans. I just added Rob's Particle.x cfg tweak to the Orbx_wave.fx cfg file, and now no longer have waves going vertical into the sky when striking the shore. The Ultra water setting adds so much to immersion realism, but before this could not use it because of the wave anomoly. Now...happily doing so, with Ultra water setting as my now default setting. P3D 4.1's waterways look so real-life, not to mention, that you never know what kind of wave or height action, you might have to contend with, for a water landing.
