Flight Deck Lighting

There seems to be no flight deck lighting, under autopilot. When I turn the lights on left of the pilots knee nothing happens. The only lighting seems to come from the overhead panel. Am I missing something?

Flood knob on the Captains Lighting panel conrols the lights which shine on the panel in front of the Captain, same for the FO, Pedestal and Overhead.  The other knobs for the digital alpha-numeric displays and background lighting. There is also a Dome Light, the switch for this is located above on the overhead above FO's head and next to the Thunderstorm Switch (note; does not actually create Thunderstorms... ).
