Loss of Dyn Lights due to CP possible (P3D v4.2)

Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

please look at this videos here: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=128671

Can this be caused by CP? The reason I ask is because I just disabled it and configured my HAT SW for View (PAN) in P3D...the issue was gone!

Regards,

Gerald

I believe the issue is related to the type of camera you are using (Locked Spot vs Outside). We have observed this issue before but we aren't using anything out of the ordinary for those camera. Everything is within SDK specs.

The issue is most likely on Lockheed Martin's side or a non-documented behavior.

Hello Keven,

just wanted to delete my post! I was able to reproduce the issue with CP disabled but had to zoom out more.

@Keven Menard just for the record (and closing of this topic) I chased the problem down. It is due to UTLive! Have no idea how it influences the sim but turning UTL on or off from P3D Addon menu, the issue can be reproduced 100% on my system (UTL off -> lights OK; UTL on -> lights OFF).
