May 28, 200620 yr Hi All,The free version will smooth winds at 5deg per second or 5mph per second. Pete has stated that this should work with all 3rd party weather programs.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter

May 28, 200620 yr HiI've used FsMetar for a while (version 5.3's overcast is my favorite I've viewed in Fs2004) but the only problem I had was with pauses when updating the weather. Also, the earlier versions like 5.3 would make weather disappear during flight often so my destination was normally always clear. The full Fsuipc fixed the wind, but even after I personally had the pauses problem.I've also used the program WeatherFs2k4 (http://users.skynet.be/nouls/weatherfs2k/wfs2k_home.htm). Although in French only so far I found it pretty good for freeware with the weather updating well. But it also required the full Fsuipc and also I personally preferred the way FsMetar (especially 5.3) looked.Hope this helps a little,P.
May 28, 200620 yr "I've used FsMetar for a while (version 5.3's overcast is my favorite"The most recent version of FSMetar is 1.5.5 (beta). FSMetar doesn't have an option such as overcast. Just the actual weather. Are you sure you are talking about the same program as the initial poster?Jozef K. http://homepages.onsnet.nu/~jkusters/signature.jpg
