Im running the latest ver of Active sky and I get alot of sudden up burst that sometimes send my planes upwards a couple thousand feet. Ive turned down the settings of strenght and % in the vertical air simulation but still get some major jumps. Guess I will turn them off totally and see what happens. My biggest problem is trim. If I have just a little to much neg or pos, it overrides the AP. I have it linked to a rotary on my Saitek. Ive fooled around with the deadzone and sensitivity but its still really iffy.

sorry yes im running the latest version of AS as well.ciao!Brian S

Ciao!

Can be caused by bad barometer data in the metars or by the VAS function in AS. You can turn off or adjust the VAS function in AS by setting the appropriate options.DJ
