March 2, 20188 yr Can anyone tell me why there is not an auto-matic throttle in the Milviz F-15E Strike Eagle? In order to refuel using the pro tanker mode, i need the use of an auto-matic throttle to do it. i would like to try it the way real air force pilots do it. is the an auto-pilot that you can control using a smartphone, with the appropriate app of course.
March 2, 20188 yr You are correct , we do not have an auto throttle in it and I do not remember the F15 having one , we would have put it in if there was. Cant you use keyboard shortcuts for AP On , Alt Hold, Heading Hold like in DCS? Best CJ
March 3, 20188 yr Author It will make refueling in pro tanker mode difficult without controlling your speed as you approach the tanker. Do you know of any addon that could help with the speed while flying to the tanker?
March 6, 20188 yr Commercial Member the way real pilots do it is by mark 1 eyeball and hand/feet controls. That's how it's done. Hence the name... Pro tanker mode.
