MS FSX with accelerator,windows 7

I have over time added some scenery,all freeware and they all worked fine.
But recently I found that they do not show up in FSX ie: the 3 runways at KSEA,upgrades to KORD (new runways and
cargo ramps),and upgrades to KATL.

Most of the bgl files are just added to addon scenery/scenery, 4 of them I had to add thru the scenery library.
They all worked great,but yesterday I was going to KORD and found the default scenery,no more new runways.

I removed all the bgl files in the addon scenery/scenery folder, and the 4 sceneries in addon scenery folder,and removed them
in the scenery library. 

So I put them back in 1 at a time and added the 4 back in the scenery library, and the other bgl's back into addon scenery/scenery
folder as before but none of the upgrades show up in FSX. When I make a change it says building a scenery data base on boot up.

I have my sceneries up high on the list with addon scenery being #1

I have not installed anything in FSX since the last time I added KMCO scenery several months ago. I also made sure the
default scenery is selected in the go to airport window.

Hi Charles,

Although it is difficult to say what might be causing your problem, you might be better not putting all your bgls into addon scenery/scenery and instead keep the individual airports (particularly the bigger ones) in their own folders and then adding them individually to the scenery library. At least then it may be easier to identify where the problem lies.

One possible cause of your addon freeware scenery not showing is that they may be lacking AFCAD files - if so then just the default scenery would show in FSX. You say that you upgraded some of these - could the upgrades not have included AFCAD files?

Adding .bgl files to Addon Scenery/Scenery isn't a horrible idea, but were there any texture files to go with them?  Could you be specific about the download used for the 3 runways at KSEA?  I'm more than happy to test and see what flies or doesn't fly.

All sceneries have worked from installation, they just stopped showing up recently. 

I got fresh downloads of Klax and Kmco no joy, the Kmco does not show up in scenery library says its

already installed. The bgl for Klax ,that's in global/scenery does show up in FSX

I also have FSscene,have had that for years,thats not in the FSX folder,its on the c drive

I looks like, doing a quick read through, that your scenery files are where they need to be.  I was rereading your first post and was a little confused about this statement....."I also made sure the default scenery is selected in the go to airport window".  Is that something from FSscene?

charliearon, I googled my problem first and read thru a couple posts from somewhere

don't remember where,never heard of it before. FS scene is a senery enhancer,had it

for years,never a problem. All these sceneries loaded and worked fine,then all of a 

sudden none show up. I'm confused as to why now I have the KMCO scenery in the addon

scenery folder but it doesn't show in the libaray and tells me it's already installed,didn't do 

that before
