Scenery libraries disappeared

Featured Replies

I have purchased many products and tried to install them, but its the third time i have to reinstall my windows as well as fsx, because my scenery libraries are disappeared after i installed several orbx products. I also tried to copy a backup of the scenery.cfg but its not working. im really frusturated and i have no clue whats the reason is. So i can only see the orbx products in the lbrary but all other scenery like the standard scenery of fsx are disappeared. Its also not possible to see the aircraft image, i cant understand this.

Always if this happens i reinstall windows and fsx, but it happens again and again.

Pls Help and sorry about my english.

Use this https://sourceforge.net/projects/fs-sceditor/   Go to "actions", select "reset area and layer numbers and reordner the file". Then go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX and delete everything inside SceneryIndexes folder. Start FSX, and it will rebuild your Scenery Indexes. Please post what you see when you start this program, only ORBX sceneries?

P.S. You can PM me in German, i live in Germany for a couple of years now, still learning the language but i belive i can handle it
