UTL file madness?

Featured Replies

I have just checked after a couple of hours messing with UTL I'm having 3002 *.utp files in Flight Plans, and 3534 *.pln files in Flight Simulator folder Users/User_Name/AppData/Roaming/Flight One Software/utLive/Flight Plans/

Doesn't this UTL file overflow grind my SSD? Is it possible to move that folder to a different location on my HDD for example?

How do you manage these 2 folders? Do I need to clean up these folders before they blow up my OS SSD?

Thanks,

It's just some 26 MB so it won't blow up your SSD. How did you think those files would blow up your SSD...? SSD's don't 'blow up' as easily as people thought a decade or so ago. I myself simply keep them where they are. Although I have to add it wouldn't make a difference anyway if I'd put them somewhere else on my PC because I have SSD's only.

I have 27,000 in mine. If you delete them, they will be recreated and it will slow things down.

I suggest you leave them alone.

No, I didn't think how. It must have been you who did since you took that turn of phrase literally, Jeroen
