POSKY 777 Most Switches/Buttons not Clickable

Featured Replies

I have installed this Project Open Sky 777-200 package into FSX Boxed: https://www.rikoooo.com/downloads/viewdownload/55/184, and most of the switches/buttons in the VC are not clickable.  The only things that are clickable are 90% of the light switches, the starter switches, the apu switches, the flight director on/off switch, and the autothrottle switch.  Those are the only switches/buttons/knobs that are clickable.

Is anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

Thanks very much.

I have yet to see any POSKY, or otherwise, freeware 777 download have a decent VC or 2D cockpit that was fully functional from the get-go.  It would take considerable programming to make the non-functional switches functional.

I'll try the aircraft and see how much is lacking.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

Thanks for the reply, and I see what you mean and I agree, but I have a very strong feeling that the POSKY 777 is quite close to payware quality, and that most of the switches, (especially the autopilot) are functional.  Check out this review: https://www.avsim.com/pages/1008/Posky/777.htm

Thanks

Probably most of that review is correct, but when people get a hold of these aircraft and make their own modifications to them and upload them to places like Rikooo, then the review can be thrown out the window.  I've tried this download many years ago and found the same results.  Into the "round file" with this one!

Ok.  Thanks for the reply.  I just read the review more thoroughly, and I am noticing that most of the switches do not work according to the review.  The autopilot switches do work, but only when you are above 400 feet msl.  I was on the ground when I noticed that they were not working.  I suppose I will not use the POSKY 777.  I will stick to the default 737 until I can afford PMDG.

Thanks.

Just in case, you may want to try this download https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/2905/fsx-united-airlines-boeing-777-200/get/

It wasn't here in the AVSIM library and it may work better than the one you tried.

Nah!  This one is just the same!

I saw that but I couldn't even install it!  The read me did not make since and even when I followed the instructions exactly it didn't work.

Thanks
